Maude is making jewelry and decorative boxes for the upcoming Open Studios event at Project Artaud, October 2006.
Maude is also collaborating with local artist, Anna Conti, to make a series of carnival-style icons, which they're calling "Bean Paintings." These pictures are painted on panel and surrounded by beans, seeds, and other bead-like items. They're very labor intensive, so production is slow, but you can usually find the latest one at the Studio Gallery on Polk Street.
