| Doggie Diner |
| The Doggie Diner Head (affectionately known as "DD") featured in my paintings lives in my neighborhood, at the corner of Sloat Boulevard and 46th Avenue, across from the San Francisco Zoo. He blesses the Carousel Restaurant, which used to be a Doggie Diner. On April 1, 2001 an ill wind blew the Doggie over, smashing nose-first into Sloat Blvd. The San Francisco Department of Public Works fixed him, using the one of the Emeryville Doggies as a guide. The Sloat Doggie was returned to his spot near the ocean on Saturday, June 30th.

The Doggie Diner Art Show was Thurs., May 31st, 2001, at the Canvas Gallery. The Doggie's Emeryville siblings were there, too!
