Doggie Diner Head
The Doggie Diner Head (affectionately known as "DD") featured in my paintings lives in my neighborhood, at the corner of Sloat Boulevard and 46th Avenue, across from the San Francisco Zoo. He oversees the Carousel Restaurant, which used to be a Doggie Diner. On April 1, 2001 an ill wind blew the Doggie over, smashing him (her?) nose-first into Sloat Blvd. The San Francisco Department of Public Works fixed him, using the on of the Emeryville Doggies as a guide. The Sloat Doggie was returned to his spot near the ocean on Saturday, June 30th, 2001. I have had three Doggie Diner shows over the years, the most recent being at HANG at the Canvas on May 31st, 2001 - the Emeryville Doggies came by for a visit!

The links at left go to my old, archived web pages - have fun, but don't get lost!
